Democracy/Authoritarianism is a false and misleading dichotomy that creates an “us vs. them” mentality that stokes fear, not mutual respect and diplomacy. It is used to reassure the masses that they really are superior, without having to do any thinking about what these distinctions mean. This polarity creates fear, sells weapons, and keeps us fighting over our divisions while elites laugh all the way to the bank.
