Donald Trump has now been President of the United States for one month. It is difficult for me to find words to describe the devastated feelings that I have. Suffice it to say that I am in agreement with numerous commentators who describe what Trump, with the assistance of Elon Musk, is doing as a coup to overthrow our democracy and initiate an authoritarian government with himself as “king”.
