INTEGRAL WORLD MAILING LIST http://www.integralworld.net Newsletter Nr. 836 Amsterdam, March 2nd, 2020 INTEGRAL VISIONS - Seeing with ALL Eyes of Knowing - BRAD REYNOLDS God cannot be proven, only doubted—either that or be realized to be the Source or “Creator” and Condition or “Sustainer” or “Suchness” of the whole universe or Kosmos (including all possible universes). You are That! This has been the universal message of all Adepts in the Global Wisdom Tradition of humankind. Indeed, this realization or knowledge is inherent in our own psycho-biological structure of being human, i.e., if someone pursues and activates the further evolution of consciousness. That is, God-Realization is not simply an opinion or perspective, but a vision and understanding of Reality available for anyone and everyone to see and know for themselves. However, the proper effort (or sacrifice of self) must be made… it doesn't come easy since it is hidden (or esoteric), and, therefore, must be evolved or grown into via stages of development. The Integral Vision understands and models this truth. Concentrate more on what he has written, not said, if you want a better and more full picture. And, for my money—as a student-scholar who has published two books on Wilber's theories (Embracing Reality, 2004; and Where's Wilber At?, 2006)—read his works prior to the 2000s, before his “integral spirituality” phase. Read his entire argument too; don't go searching for certain words, such as “Eros,” or even “evolution,” looking for stand alone quotes that, by themselves, can sometimes seem inaccurate if taken out of context. Most important, you need to read with ALL the Eyes of Knowing actively open in order to understand Wilber fully (or at all). Here, in this essay (and others), I will review the power of Wilber's Integral Vision when taken (and understood) as a whole in comparison to some of the persistent critiques offered by Frank Visser, founder of the website “Integral World” (integralworld.net).
