Much of this attack on reason and free enquiry was directed towards Integral World and my person. Obviously, this alerted some cult watchers to reflect on what on earth is currently going on in the integral scene. Here's a listing of most the relevant postings, including my replies to Wilber. Includes postings by Wilber, Visser, Bauwens, Chamberlain, Falk, Tuff Ghost, Hendricks, Kazlev, Meyerhoff and Benjamin, as well ass some Wikipedia background articles on Wyatt Earp, Narcissism, Cults and Cult Checklists, Ken Wilber, Geoffrey Falk and Frank Visser. Rather, the same dynamics obviously apply in all of them. That is why a scale such as Bonewits', if it deeply applies to any one of those, will apply to all of them (with at most minor modifications, as below). Conversely, the fact that the Anthony typology in which Benjamin places far too much confidence disintegrates from "eight boxes" into merely two as soon as one tries to apply it outside of spiritual groups (i.e., to political or psychological ones) indicates that, even in its planned region of validity, it is not really "hitting the nail on the head" at all."
